Conclusion

My career goal is to become a optometrist or veterinarian (I am still deciding between these two career) and would need to have knowledge skills of biological science, mathematics, science, critical thinking, speaking, reading and writing. It will assist in solving current societal problem by as a person eyes tend to age, the eye is less able to focus on objects just a short distance away. Optometrists provide eye care to these people, treat vision problems and eye diseases. They use instruments, eye drops, and various observation to determine the health of the patients' eyes. They create a treatment plan, explain those treatment plans to patients and answer their questions. It will teach them about proper lighting, care of glasses and contact lenses, and general eye safety and health.

Throughout this class, I have learned about myself of my personality and what careers is best for me based on it. I learn that I value order and cherish the traditions of home, family and country . When there is a task to complete, I can be depended upon. I try my best to get it done and keep track of the time so that I won't spend too much time on it. I am very organized, including my desk, work space and personal environment, and I know where the items are located. Time management is very important to me and been/am using this skill in my daily life. The further on I go with my studies, the more I can be independent. I always balance myself between work, rest and play and set a time limit of each of them on how many hours should I spend time into these three areas. Team building is also important in our everyday life, especially when working at a job. Interactive exercises, team assessments, and group discussions helps develop a greater sense of cooperation and trust between team members. By doing these three activities, communication and collaboration skills within and between groups of people working together are improved. Learning to work together and act as a team may be enjoyable and a lot of fun. I have learned a lot about the many different types of careers and what is required to fulfill those careers as well as how to write a cover letter, resume, and be prepared before an actual interview.
